At this time, we are not reading full-length manuscripts. If you are interested in writing for Bards and Sages, please visit our submission guidelines page to see what we are looking for.
If you submit a story to us (assuming you followed our submission guidelines), we usually respond within 90 days. If we reject your story, you will get a personalized explanation of our decision if you request such. If we accept your work, publication details will be explained in the e-mail we send.
For starters, we have no interest in new game systems, so don't send it to us. We are only publishing game material for the 3.5/OGL system and the Karma RPG at this time. Besides, it costs too much in time, resources, and money to publish and promote a brand new system to risk losing it all on a copyright case. No matter how good you think your system is, it isn't good enough for us to risk losing our reputation on.
We are, however, looking for freelancers to write supplements for our core RPG product lines. Visit our submissions guidelines page for complete information.
Yes, we do. If you would like to be considered for future projects, send an e-mail to us with your name, a link to your portfolio, and detailed information regarding turnaround time and your rates. Please do not send us a blanket "rates negotiable" without also including actual rate information. If you demand $300 a page, telling me your rate is negotiable doesn't help if I am looking for filler art for a 6 page PDF. We have no interest in 3D computer generated art.
Yes. If you are a convention organizer or shop owner, please contact us and provide the details about your event. We do offer a limited amount of swag that can be used for giveaways, silent auctions, and door prizes. Supplies are limited, and it is important to give us at least a two month advance notice. We do not keep a large inventory of items, but through our printer and manufacturing partners we can get new merchandise quickly.
We no longer review books.
